I received my 200 hour certification from Tranquil Space in Washington, DC and have been practicing yoga since 2000. I was drawn to the vinyasa style of yoga for its flowing dance-like sequences, often set to music. My history as a student of dance also informs my respect for alignment within the flow. I strive to infuse my classes with energizing and creative yoga sequences set to eclectic music that challenge and nurture those in my class to safely explore their edge. Off the mat, I get lessons on how to be mindful and present from my two wonderful daughters.
